First Responders Training
Alternative Fuels
EP-ACT proudly presents a course to help you identify, assess, and engage to a vehicle or station accident that involves an electric or natural gas fueled vehicle.
Alternative fueled vehicles and stations are becoming increasingly more popular. As these technologies become commonplace, we must learn the proper techniques and operations to safely secure the accident scene. These fuel sources pose additional risk to those involved in an accident, as well as to the responders who arrive at the scene, if they are unfamiliar with alternative fuels.
This course will demonstrate the proper protocol on evaluating the situation, identification of vehicles and proper extrication and fuel properties for extinguishing alternative fuels.
The course size is limited to 50 first responders so please register early.
